There goes Thursday

Apart from the fact that I think I will be dead due to starvation before I get home, there isn’t anything to smile about today. So that’s me..

And now my nostrils can pick the smell of food from all over Nairobi. 😦 😦

  1. I’m sorry to hear that. I would share my delicious and aromatic chicken ka-bob salad with you, but I’m afraid that it would arrive cold. 😀

      1. I am your biggest fan, Winnie! I would gladly share my meal with you. 😀 What was that saying? Partner systems have to take food? 😀

      2. :(… don’t try to change my mind. I have a noisy stomach, dry lips and the traffic… I might be sitting here for the next three hours and you seriously mentioned food.. chicken.. may you be punished.. 😦

      4. And I’m very proud of that skill. Did you know that due to my outstanding precision, I can now write my name in snow with those skills? In cursive? 😉

      5. Yes! In cursive! All it takes is excellent aim and a slightly mobile hip motion. However, my handwriting is not so good.

      6. I’m sure that a host wouldn’t be a problem. 😀 Either that, or a trip to Kilimanjaro is in order.

      7. Haha… Kilimanjaro is too much work.. I am not lazy though but just imagine hiking everyday for intense training?? 🙂 🙂 . It might interfere with the ability to move my hip

      8. True. What was I thinking. If your hips are tired, then the writing will be illegible. Well, a host is in order. Hopefully one with cherry trees. 🙂

      9. Lol… that’s so thoughtful of you.. Thank you.. I will learn how to write on the snow. Then write ‘ Rob you are awesome’. It’s the least I could do..

      10. Yes, we will. Perhaps we can open up our own training facility to share this wonderful skill.

  2. Oh Winnie I miss you my sister. Damn this disease. I just want to fly to Africa. I still have your box. My sister in-law has promised me she will make sure it all gets to you somehow. She has been calling me almost daily to check on me and ask me what I need. I just keep telling her I want that box to get to you. It is very important to me that it does. I love you so much. ♡ I have saved a picture of you and your niece on my phone. Sebastian and I like to look at it, and imagine what life is like for you in Kenya. I hope that some miracle happens and I can be cured and come see you somehow. I love you my sweet African sister.

      1. Sebastian said hi back! ♡ I will begin chemo soon. Hopefully that will help. If it doesn’t then I will try stem cell therapy… I am trying everything I can to get better.
